We had a lot of emotional distress looking for our cat, he is a therapy cat and for them to not tell us he was there and then charge us $20.00 a day is so wrong. They also had my cat scheduled for being neutered but he was neutered already I would think an animal shelter would know the difference between a neutered cat and an unneutered cat. THEN they charged us 121.00 to take him home!!! We didn't even know he was there! I had her pay for it because I wanted my cat home but after talking to many people this is not the first time they have basically held peoples pets with out telling them when they are looking for them. Here to find out he WAS there in the back and she was told you had him for 5 DAYS!!! NO phone call, no contact with us at all. She enjoys cuddles and the company of other cats. I told her to ask to check the back because I was told by an anonymous person to go check again. STORY: Kitty is a beautiful girl looking for her new home with you. She went back to Hart on Tuesday this week to check again and said he wasn't there. We were looking all week, and posting pics to find him. She gave you pictures and contact information to contact us if you had anyone bring him in. When my friends are asking about where I got my cats from I tell them Heartland, and tell them to adopt from there, since there are many wonderful pets just waiting for their furever home.I lost my cat a week ago (Thursday) we were desperately looking for him, I had my daughter go in the day after to see if he was at your shelter and she was told no he wasn't there. Skittles is outgoing and loves attention. Chy like Hitch has decided I'm the person for her, and she really doesn't care for too many other humans, but will tollerate them. They are now going on 3 years old in March of 2020. Brair and Rose, now called Chy and Skittles. He's missed by everyone who knew him.Ī few weeks after Lucky's death, I got two new 5 month old kittens. He aways seemed to know when someone needed to be cheered up. Lucky was well loved and everyone loved his spunky attitude. The poor little guy had a rough start to life, but he had a great 4 years before I had to put him to sleep due to illness he couldn't fight any longer. They got him to Snuggle Rescue, and when Lucky was old enough I adopted him back. I actually ended up resucing my next cat Lucky at work when he was a two day old kitten. Parker and Dino are still with me, and they are probably about 8 years old now. When she had to move back home to help out her parents she couldn't take Parker with her, and asked me to keep him. Parker never really bonded with my friend and adopted me as his human. The next pair of cats I got were were Micah now called Dino and my roommate/best friend adopted Parker. To ensure the safety of the organization’s people and property, and the animals in our care, we conduct a background check of our volunteers. He was a wonderful old man who loved attention. We offer a wide range of ways to get involved, each with varying requirements, responsibilities and commitment levels, and we provide all of our volunteers with guidance and training as needed. He lived to be nearly 18 passing away a few months before his 18th birthday. I adodted Blitzen, aka Blitz or Blitzy in 2011 when he was 9 years old. Stowie will demand attention from everyone. Both are sweethearts, and Hitch while he tollerates other people seems to be a one person cat, and that person is me. I adopted Hitch and Stowie back in 2010 when they were about a year old, they are going on 11 years old now.
